Call for papers

The programme of the 23rd Cartographic School 2016 on "Applications of unmanned aerial vehicles in geosciences" includes the following elements:

  • two field workshop sessions (presented by the organizers and their co-workers),
  • three workshop sessions on data processing (presented by the organizers and their co-workers),
  • extended poster session (open for participants - contributed posters),
  • two oral sessions (open for participants - contributed talks),
  • one keynote lecture given by an invited speaker.

We welcome you to submit your abstracts of papers to be presented as contributed oral or poster presentations. Oral presentations should be planned as 15-minute talks, whereas posters shall be discussed during a proper poster session combined with a dinner. The abstracts should be informative and concise (max. 300 words), and both objectives and hypotheses ought to be clearly stated. The submission should be done before 15 April 2016 along with on-line registration, only through the dedicated on-line submitting form. When submitting an abstract (as a file or in a plain text version), please make sure that you:

  • provide a full title,
  • provide first names and surnames of all authors,
  • provide authors’ affiliations,
  • provide abstract itself,
  • specify your preference as to whether you wish to give a talk or to display a poster.

Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Organizing Committee, and accepted contributors will be notified by 30 April 2016. The Scientific Organizing Committee will be also responsible for classifying the accepted abstracts to specific sessions.
